It's no secret that we love to help musicians meet their true potential. But let's be honest, they don't really NEED us. This is definitely the case for Harvey Street Co., a rapidly growing indie-alternative band formed out of Raleigh, NC.
Since the summer of 2021, Harvey Street Co. has quickly garnered popularity in not only the Raleigh music scene but also in Chapel Hill. Some of their original songs include favorites such as “Irish Goodbye”, “Betty” and "Insane" (as played at The PITCH an INSANE amount of times...lol). They've plated with other well-known local bands such as The Futurebirds, The Stews, and Susto. They recently released their EP “Gone for a While,” and are excited to keep forming their unique sound and travel the country together on their "Gone for a While" tour across the eastern United States.
One of our PITCH team members Adam Castillo first introduced us to the Harvey Street Co. guys a few months back, and we were immediately impressed with both their musical talent and their genuine, laid-back personalities. We were discussing potential concert opportunities in our main event space, but on a whim, we decided to offer them one of our creative studios so they could practice together and work out kinks before going on tour. This bring the first of its kind, we were thrilled to sit in on such intimate sessions with an early-stage band.
After coming multiple weeks in a row, they told us that they were gonna be gone for a while (no pun intended) over the next few months on tour, but we're stoked to come back! So much so, that they're now doing a concert with us on March 2!
