We are taking a page out of Goodfellows book: after every open mic on Tuesdays from 7-10pm, we'll be having a "Karaoke Power Hour" that goes from 10-11pm... Maybe 11:30 if everyone’s having a good time.
Karaoke definitely isn’t new to Franklin Street, but we thought it would be fun to incorporate it on the same night as our open mics for those who don’t want to feel like they’re performing in the spotlight, or for the supportive friends who come and want a chance to have their moment! Karaoke also pulls in a more of a crowd typically, so we thought adding it to our Tuesday itinerary would attract singers to the open mic as well.

In the space, we have multiple projectors and TVs that the song lyrics can be broadcast t, as well as a pretty elite sound system and club light set-up that will make any karaoke performance feel like a concert at Madison Square Garden. By the looks of this video, I think it's gonna catch on pretty quickly:
